3.1.2 Flow Charts

 My group and I made a powerpoint that included the flow chart for 2 different senarios and a semi modified for the second from the first.

The third and the second were the same but we had minimal changes, we had to keep track of how many times we have done the thing, and also increased the amount of revolutions to 10 not 3.

Here is my groups work. 

This project was originally easy for us because Kacie had her car from last year and she won the race last year. In case the car Kacie had wouldn't work we decided we were going to make a car out of an iPhone case. The original car that Kacie had didn't fail so we decided to use Kacies car.

Activity 3.1.6

In this assignment we used fischertechnik components and a Robo Pro  to create an advanced motorized system.

3.1.3 Basic Programming

My team, Michael Hardy, Chris Cervantes and myself, have somehow lost our work on this section. I will conduct a summary of our work based on memory in the following:

3.1.3 Basic Programming Summary:

- Equipment used: RoboPro software and controller, miscellaneous fischertechnik components

- There were 18 questions total in the assignment, however only a handful of questions were answerable, others were steps.

- The hardest challenge was probably the first one, for it was the first real time that we had to create a program

- End result: We constructed multiple digital flowcharts that outlined a software capable of controlling our fischertechnik components

Marble sorter

In this activity the students of principles of engineering were assigned a task to sort marbles into three different groups. Metal, wood and clear.

Achievements:

1) Organize it!

2) I've Made a Few Special Modifications...

* Added a fan to push wooden marbles

* Constructed a new hopper

* Disassembled sorter and rebuilt it with many support improvements

3) Reflection

+ : Creative solutions, results fulfill problem statement

- : Teamwork, only a couple of our members were constantly working (together)

? : Next time we need to improve our teamwork, and procrastinate less (and work on focus)

! : Why not have the entire class as one group and make them sort ten different kinds of marbles?

4) Process 15 marbles in less than 30 seconds. (6 to 10 seconds)

Here is our marble sorter.

This would catch the marbles and every one thought this would accomplish six feet but we were only able to do two feet.

 

Here is our complete marble sorter we got the three kinds if marble sorted. One group was 5 metal. Second group was 5 wood. The last set of marbles were clear marbles. We did the two feet challenge. 

This was an awesome experience and I have always loved to these type of projects in engineering.

Activity 3.1.7

 In this activity students were given the oppurnity to choose two projects and see if the students were able to handle the task.

My group chose the projects number 1 which was the start/finish line and project number 5 which was the elevator. The elevator was the hardest project for us all, we used 41 cords that took us half a normal period to get all these cords. we had to use vey difficult program but we worked as a team and we were able to accomplish this exciting project.

This program was not as fun to produce as i thought it would be but felt proud when completed.

 

 

 

Activity 3.1.5 Variable Functions

In this activity we were assigned an activity using variables and we did all this work with a Robo Pro Controller.

Activity 3.1.1 Inputs and Outputs

In this assignment our group was assigned 20 problems about. Students used their robotic skills and a computer to solve this exciting assignment.

Leadership

Here is the information I wrote down about my opinions of leadership.

Its really difficult to see but what i said was there are many ways to be a leader in a good way or a bad way.
A leader would inspire their nation or their people and help them. We can think if a leader is bad leader or a good leader, for example i thought Hitler was a bad leader because the things he did but for example his people thought that he was a hero. Leaders would do anything to make their people like them.
